Talc
Talc is an occurring substance consisting of hydrated magnesium silicate extensively used as a performance-enhancing material in diverse industries, including paints & coatings, plastic, rubber, paper, and ceramic manufacturing. Talc has a unique plate-like morphology, which increases mechanical strength, improves smoothness, and provides effective barrier properties.
In addition, it is thermally stable, chemically resistant, and has a lubricating effect, making it well-suited for applications where stability, barrier characteristics, and improved processability are important.
